Are you looking for a great set of Brake Rotors for your Alfa Romeo Giulia QV?

This version is designed for the QV Model that is outfitted with Carbon Ceramic Brake Rotors.

The Girodisc Brake Rotors are a direct replacement solution when it is time to replace the OE Carbon Ceramic Brake Rotors. The Girodisc Brake Rotor System is a direct replacement set of brake rotors. Please note that a different brake pad with an annulus (pad swept area) of 66mm or less must be used with these rotors.

This is done to keep the rotor weight at a reasonable level.  If GiroDisc manufactured a rotor with the same annulus as the OEM CCM rotors they would be far too heavy.

The central hat section of our rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum.  The disc is made from GiroDiscs own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc.  The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.

The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.

Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotors when needed.

Listing is for a set of two Front Brake Rotors.

About Manufacturer

A Unique Place in the Brake Industry

GiroDisc was created in 2003 to solve a longstanding problem facing drivers and preparers of high-performance vehicles that are pushed to their limits on street or  track: how can you upgrade the brake rotors in performance cars so that they will perform as well as the rest of the braking system?

Brake rotors have long been seen as the weak link in performance car braking systems, particularly for track use. Conventional brake rotors are heavy, adding  unsprung weight that adversely affects handling. These old-school rotors also retain heat, diminishing their effectiveness and resulting in longer stopping distances.

Direct Replacement 2-Piece Rotors

GiroDisc threw out the conventional wisdom that has been applied to performance braking systems when they created GiroDisc. Their brake rotors will take your car’s braking performance  to the next level – without the need to replace your entire braking system:

  • Direct replacement for stock rotors - works with your existing brake system
  • Two-piece precision design and construction for reduced unsprung weight
  • Increased ventilation and cooling capacity for improved performance
  • Full-floating design for better pedal feel and modulation
  • All raw materials sourced from US suppliers for the highest quality and sustainability
  • Get the benefits of 2-piece rotors while retaining the rest of your braking system

GiroDisc Brake Rotors are available for a wide range of exotics and sports cars.
